Uganda wildlife authority has completed the construction of an eight floor storied building on Kanjokya street plot 31 under the name of wildlife plaza. The commercial building mainly intending to be rented out to corporate companies related to tourism like tour and travel companies and hotel marketing companies was set up with an motive of generating revenue to top up the for the gate collection from the national park and other revenue got from national tourism destinations.
The minister for tourism wildlife and antiquates, professor Ephraim Kamuntu said while opening the building on 25th may 2018, “by thinking out of the box, UWA is showing other parastatals what ought to be done to generate resources to deliver services”.
