Speke resort Munyonyo scooped the award of the best luxury standard hotel in Uganda on the first ever Ekkula peal of Africa awards that were held at hotel Africana on Fridays to recognize entities and people who make the tourism and hotel industry flourish.
The panel of judges’ choice was based on the hotel’s contribution to promoting Uganda as a top tourism destination, their professionalism, clientele feedback from travels and conservation of culture.
The general manager of Speke resort hotel Greg Petzer said that it was such a great honor to be acknowledged as the accommodation facility with the best services and standards countrywide.
He added and said that they will keep on reviewing their standards so that they can meet up the expectations of their customers and the market needs and also to make Uganda the best tourism destination.
He extended his gratitude to his team for their tireless efforts which resulted into winning and award. He said, “We are extremely proud for recognition. As a team, we work very hard to meet the expectations for our quests. By winning this award, it means we are doing something right”.
