Eddy Kenzo never seizes to make headlines in Uganda’s entertainment industry. The Sitya loss singer took all his international awards to Uganda national museum to act as inspirational features for the young generation.
Eddy Kenzo has won so many prestigious awards on an international scale namely the BET best viewer’s choice, AFRIMMA, AAMA and most recently the best African performer nickelodeon award and best African reggae artist.
While making an interview at the Uganda museum with the paparazzi, he said,” when I was growing up I put my focus on things that would inspire me and this is why I am where I am. When young you have to get something that inspires you to become great. I brought my international awards at the museum so that parents can bring their kids to look at them and get inspired in some way or the other. I am not doing this for money, I am giving them to the museum for free of charge since I am Ugandan and I have to give back to Uganda that has made me achieve all this. Many people love seeing these award but all cannot come to my home so I bring them to the Uganda museum for all the people to enjoy them”.
Uganda tourism board came out to commend Eddy Kenzo’s deed saying that it was remarkable to add such popular accolades to the museums and they would attract many Ugandans to come to the museum.
